David describes his interests which include: his rugby career, driver for St John’s Ambulance, RSA, Senior Citizens, and Lions.

Overview Errol first arrived in Te Anau from Auckland to work as a ranger for the Fiordland National Park Board in the mid-1960s. He soon discovered that commercial deerhunting, a job for which he had previously gained experience as a Forest Service culler in the North Island, was a more lucrative option. At about the same time, the first helicopter assisted meathunting began in the Te Anau Basin and it wasn't long before Sir Tim Wallis invited Errol to join his deer recovery operation, Luggate Game...

Overview Irene Brown was born in Riverton in 1901. Her father worked on a water race and her mother was a dressmaker. In this interview, Irene recalls the deaths of two of her brothers, school days at Wild Bush and growing up in rural Southland. She describes marrying Henry Brown and activities on their farm including keeping bees, cows, chickens and growing potatoes. She discusses clothing, going to town in a gig, horses and boating at Riverton.
